Crosby Liberal Democrats are today celebrating their best General Election result in Crosby constituency since 1992. Jim Murray secured 6298 votes, 17.4% of the votes cast. His share of the vote was up 6.3%. Like the government she supports, Labour's successful candidate saw a sizeable reduction in her majority. The Conservative share of the vote also dropped slightly.
